Cheyenne Dunigan started CrossFit back in October of 2014. Cheyenne grew up playing many sports but started focusing on softball once she started high school. She was on her way to playing through college when a shoulder surgery derailed her plans. Cheyenne was looking for a way to stay in shape and really missed a competitive environment when her friend asked her to come try CrossFit with her. She fell in love after the very first class.
CrossFit had such a big impact that she went on to change her major to Exercise Science with a Biology Minor at East Central University in Ada. She also earned her CF-L1, CF-L2, and Precision Nutrition Sports Nutrition Certification. Cheyenne moved to Oklahoma City with her husband and after some searching joined Native in October of 2019. “Native has literally changed my life, the amazing and supportive environment makes me believe I can do anything. I have learned and grown so much as a coach and a person after being surrounded by such an amazing group of people.”
When Cheyenne is not at the gym you can find her spending time with her husband and daughter Adi, or working on one of her many projects.
